More recently, the tragic circumstances in Haiti have spurred requests for donations of expressed breastmilk. Sensible donation of a vital resource, or an unfeasible waste of effort & goodwill?
Other ways you may wish to help Haiti:
- Donate to DEF (Oxfam).
- Buy from Haitian craftspeople now and look out for fairtrade Haitian goods in the future
- Or buy from other shops which are donating profits (e.g. Etsy) to Haiti.
- Easiest of all: Join the call to cancel Haiti's debt.
