Why Breastfeed?

Many pages of information, advice and real-life experiences are available on the Internet which may help you to see why so many women choose to Breastfeed.  The choice is entirely yours about how long you Breastfeed (and any good Peer Supporter will support your choice fully).

I'm sure you'll agree that the important thing is that you are well-informed: this is the case for all your parenting choices.

There are Myths which may prevent women from choosing to Breastfeed - the truths can be read here.  There are also still many organisations which are not supportive of Breastfeeding, and the laws of the world should control the mis-information they spread.
