Thanks to Abi for the inspiration here.
- First of all, my favourite lesson in positioning of the baby... (apart from the more personal image of my own child doing this!!)
- Next, a rather unnecessary doll named Bebe Gloton (sold in Spain) - advertised positively here, and then the uproar caused by it was covered here in the Daily Mail or on Fox News. Apparently selling very well in the US. Oversexualised for young girls? Well, how about Bratz dolls?
- Next, a poster in a hospital labour ward which caused a huge fuss in May 2009, but seems to be an excellent attempt to normalise & promote Breastfeeding. Article from Telegraph here.
These images all have one thing in common. They are attempting to support breastfeeding by showing that Breastfeeding is the normal way to feed children.
